Terrain Park Heaven – Big Bear Lake, CA

Big Bear is one of my most favorite snowboarding resorts! The whole place is a terrain park from beginner to advanced, so if you’re not paying attention, you might end up riding a box all of a sudden! Everyone is trying new tricks here, so there is no time for intimidation. If you fall, try and try again! We went on two different weekends, and the experience was both fun and rewarding!

There are two mountains for the price of one lift ticket: Snow Summit and Big Bear Mountain. You can take a free shuttle from one mountain to the other. What’s even better is that you can upgrade your ticket to night skiing for only $10 extra! Board from 9AM to 9:30PM! If you live here, you can snowboard after work! If you don’t like the conditions that day, you can get your money back and get lift ticket vouchers good for one year!

When you get to Big Bear or Snow Summit, there will be friendly associates guiding your vehicle for free parking. They have trail maps ready for you if you want them. They also have a board check-in available on Big Bear Mountain where an associate will watch your board while you eat! No worries about boards being stolen there! At the lunch area, there are DJs set up on weekends to bring you some feel good music and get you energized. Keep your eyes peeled for some hotties! There is eye candy for both guys and girls on this mountain! Do all the good-looking snowboarders come to this mountain? Find out for yourself!

We ended up boarding from 9AM to 7:30PM the second time we were there. Bring energy drinks or power bars with you to last you through the day!
