Happy 1st Birthday, WorldTag!

WorldTag has reached the age of one! We’re very excited to still be writing about our travels after one year. WorldTag began as a traveling resource for Ray and I back in June of 2009 to plan our European adventure. Traveling websites, hotel websites, and cheap airline websites were stored in a site we decided to call WorldTag. After I came back from studying abroad, I got nothing but questions on how I was able to do so and how Ray was able to visit me three times in three months. These questions convinced me to turn WorldTag into a travel blog, and on May 6, 2010 (our relationship’s 1st birthday!), we released the first travel article, Oktoberfest – Munich, Germany.

Since then, WorldTag became a travel diary, travel pictures organizer, bucket list storage, and travel how to guides. As WorldTag evolved, we realized that our adventures make this travel blog unique. Not only do we travel to site-see, we also take advantage of the experiences each destination offers. While I enjoy the cultural festivals, Ray enjoys the extreme adventures. Our travels became more and more adventurous and we’ve learned to be patient and understanding about different cultures along the way. We’ve also become patient and understanding about each other’s travel needs and have grown as a couple doing so.

We would like to thank every one for reading WorldTag, and we appreciate the comments on the articles! In a year, we have been visited by plenty of countries, and we’re hoping to grow more and more. Thank you, Merci, Danke, Gracias, Salamat!
