Rainbow Reach on Kepler Track in Te Anau New Zealand

Our first walk in New Zealand was the Rainbow Reach on Kepler Track. Boy, were we in for a pleasant surprise! This is the first time we got to see the forest in New Zealand. From our experience, New Zealand’s nature is better seen wet. After it has rained, the greens just look way more lush! We didn’t get too much of a chance to finish any walks, but we will definitely come back for these! They are easily accessible with tracks every where, so you won’t get lost. At the same time, the nature itself looks pristine.

This is also the first time we saw traps. They were every where! At the time, we didn’t know what they were for. Later on at the very informative Rotorua Canopy Tour, we found out that they are traps for possums. More of this at a later post. For now, enjoy the photos below!
